50 Great Tracks - Part 3

This part features progressive house and chillout/ambient house. Click 'read more' to see them all

Time mason going from strength to strength with his releases on Steve Angello's Size Records. His first release was 'Anima' at the end of 2011 and up until his first 2013 release 'Swoon', Tim has shown no mercy when it comes to releasing great big room music.

Swoon (Original Mix) - Tim Mason

After 'Rift' with Michael Brun, Dirty South is back again with another anthem. This time alongside Deniz Koyu; the abilities of both men to produce melodic and beautiful tracks is shown in the form of 'Halo'

Halo (Original Mix) - Dirty South & Deniz Koyu

Sultan + Ned Shepard became a household name after their track 'walls' was featured on Tiesto's Club Life compilation. Nervo, the Australian twin sisters, have been riding a wave of popularity for a while now as well after chart-topping releases alongside Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hook n Sling & Nicky Romero. The collaboration 'Army' featuring the vocals of Omarion is one not to be missed with elements from both duos easily identifiable

Long time followers of the blog will know just how much we like Swedish youngster Jakob Liedholm. His productions are top notch and 'Lights' is no different; featuring the soothing vocals of Nick Nikon, this progressive banger is one not to be missed.

Jeremy Olander signed to Eric Prydz' Pryda Friends label in 2011 and for me, his new track 'Let Me Feel' is his first release that can be regarded as good as any other track around. Building from the second the track starts and not slowing down at any stage, Let Me Feel is truly a masterpiece.

Type skylarking into google and the first result will be a definition: "Pass time by playing tricks or practical jokes; indulge in horseplay." BT definitely needs no introduction after an illustrious career at the top that includes a Grammy nomination. 'Skylarking' is an 11 minute practical joke on your subconscious; an emotive trance track that needs to be heard:

Skylarking (Original Mix) - BT

The next couple of tracks are from Aberdeen based mates Ronnie Pacitti and JERC. At the time of release JERC or James Campbell was unsigned  which is very hard to believe. But without further ado take a listen and see the level of upcoming progressive house producers for yourself

Agnostica is an Austrian duo formed last year. There's not much info on them out there but they 'describe their sound as “Ambientronica” – The characteristic features are long build ups, massive impacts, a distinct soundscape and a concrete main theme.'

Lost (Original Version) - Agnostica

This last track is really undefineable, released in in May 2012 and only recently discovered by me this track is something special. Take a listen and see for yourself:

Protoplasm - Mononoid
