Trance Roundup

With the buzz of Armin announcing the first 6 cities of the A State Of Trance 600 'The Expedition' tour, I decided to put together a trance post. But first, the ASOT 600 cities and dates are as follows: Mexico City 16/02/2013, Sao Paulo 1/03/2013, Beirut 9/03/2013, Kuala Lumpur 15/03/2013, New York 30/03/2013 and lastly Den Bosch 6/04/2013. There are more legs of the tour still to be announced that will not be broadcast live but should not be considered any less of an event.

To kick things off we have a newly released track and an edit from the 'Worlds Number 1 DJ' - Armin van Buuren:
I'll Listen (Original Mix) - Armin van Buuren Feat Ana Criado

The following edit was belted out in Armin's ASOT 550 sets, featuring added drums in the buildup to the drop making this even bigger of a track:
Brute (Armin's Illegal Drum Edit) - Ferry Corsten vs Armin van Buuren

Featured on Armin's compilation album Universal Religion Chapter 6, Orjan Nilsen has further proved he is a true mater of his craft:
Burana (Orignal Mix) - Orjan Nilsen

The second track on the Burana/Filthy Fandango EP alongside 'Burana', Filthy Fandango shows a different side to Orjan Nilsen. A darker and more techy but just as good track, featured on W&W 'Mainstage Volume 1' compilation album
Filthy Fandango (Original Mix) - Orjan Nilsen

Another track off 'Mainstage Volume 1', this might be my pick of this post. Reminds me of BT & Adam K's masterpiece 'Tomahawk':
Silhouettes (Original Mix) - Inners

The next 2 remixes come from Andrew Rayel.  Born in July 1992, this youngster from Moldova has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame due to the constant release of unforgettable material. Always a feature on the A State Of Trance podcast and many trance compilation albums, Andrew Rayel is a name to remember:
Where Do We Begin (Andrew Rayel Remix) - Tenishia

Kepler 22 (Andrew Rayel Remix) - Fady & Mina

Next up we have a South African who has already cemented his place in the upper echelons of the industry. Playing alongside Dash Berlin in the Godskitchen fusion tour in Cape Town & Johannesburg this weekend, South Africans will be in for a treat when Protoculture takes control of the decks:
Perpetual Motion (Original Mix) - Protoculture

And now for the headline act this weekend in the Godskitchen cube; Dash Berlin's 4AM remixes have a knack for being incredibly euphoric, featuring beautiful vocals and plenty of energy these are must haves:
Not Coming Down (Dash Berlin 4AM Remix) - Dash Berlin Feat Betsie Larkin

A remix of one of the better tracks of Markus Schulz's artist album Scream, this track has been taken to a new level by Myon & Shane54:
Love Rain Down (Myon & Shane 54 Summer Of Love Mix) - Markus Schulz Feat Seri

Following the release of the album version of Go! alongside Markus Schulz, 'Edge of the World' is the best kind of follow up track you get - a truly epic one, take a listen:
Edge Of The World (Original Mix) - Dennis Sheperd

With the release of his 3rd studio album, Richard Mowatt aka Solarstone has gone from strength to strength in 2012 and this collaboration alongside Giuseppe Ottaviani is testament to that:
Falcons (Solarstone Extented Mix) - Solarstone & Giuseppe Ottaviani

Uplifiting trance when done well can be unbeatable and 'Two Sides' by Nitrous Oxide is a really great uplifiting trance tune featuring beautiful vocals by Jess Morgan. A must have:
Two Sides (Original Mix) - Nitrous Oxide Feat Jess Morgan

Featured on Tritonal's 'Piercing the Quiet: Remixed', this is definitely one of the highlights of the album. To be honest I prefer the older work from S&T but take nothing away from this track, have a listen:
Still With Me (Stoneface & Terminal Remix) - Tritonal Feat Cristina Soto

Ever since I heard 'Fortuna' by Beat Service, I've been a fan of the Estonian DJ/Producer. Having done some research it's clear to see that I've been missing out on one of trance's most talented men. This intro edit of Will Holland's 'Every Heartbeat' further entrench my views of Madis Sillamo.
Every Heartbeat (Part 2) (Beat Service's Digitally Enhanced Intro Remix) - Will Holland Feat Jeza
